Are IEA-Accredited Programmes Eligible for Government Funding?

October 16, 2026•1 min read

Not automatically. Government funding eligibility depends on WSQ approval, not IEA accreditation.

EQ World's Level 1 and Level 2 programmes are WSQ-approved and may qualify eligible participants for government funding, subject to the applicable requirements. Level 2 and Level 3 are IEA-accredited, but Level 3 is not WSQ-funded.

What Is the Difference Between IEA Accreditation and WSQ Approval?

IEA accreditation relates to recognition within the Enneagram professional certification pathway, while WSQ approval determines whether a programme may qualify for applicable WSQ funding.

A programme being IEA-accredited does not automatically make it eligible for government funding.

Which EQ World Programmes May Qualify for Funding?

  • Level 1: WSQ-approved and may qualify eligible participants for government funding.

  • Level 2: Both WSQ-approved and IEA-accredited; may qualify eligible participants for government funding.

  • Level 3: IEA-accredited but not WSQ-approved, so it does not qualify for WSQ funding.

Funding remains subject to the applicable eligibility requirements. Please contact EQ World to confirm the funding arrangements for your intended course.
